Philanthropy

This philanthropy page is designed to inform all chapters about the current philanthropy projects of Province V. Vice Satrap, the Philanthropy chair, along with the committee form a list of possible philanthropy projects for the Province as a whole to vote on that will accomodate all chapters in Province V. The Vice Satrap also communicates and evaluates each chapter's progress in regards to overall community and professional programs with each chapter via newsletter, email, listserve and/or the Province V website.

The official philanthropy project that was voted upon at the Province V Assembly for 2009-2010 is Medications Make it Possible, including charities that support illnesses treated with pharmaceuticals. Listed below is the "Summary of Service Form" which each chapter must submit semesterly.

The National Philanthropy Project is supporting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS foundation. Awareness months for 2008-2009 have also been selected and chapters are encouraged to participate in both the National Project and the awareness months. Below is a guide for Province V members to use for participation in these organizations.
